Quotes, Samples & Fees 
Consultation and Estimates
There is a fee of $ 50.00  for Consultation and Estimates
This is credited to any commission of $500.00 or more.

Faux Finish 
All samples and sketches are produced on a prepaid basis.
Basic sample boards start at $25.00 and go up according to level of difficulty
This fee is credited to any commission of $500.00 or more.
 Total cost, special instructions and requirements are determined for each
 project individually and are based on complexity, theme and extent of the project.
All designs remain the property of AbracaDeborah for execution by AbracaDeborah  unless otherwise specified.     
Starting the Project
1)  A specific starting date must be made in advance. Please note that we can only estimate the amount of time it will take to complete the project (however, we are usually pretty close). Therefore, if the project must be completed by a certain date you should allow a little extra time.

2)    Work will only start after 25% deposit has been received.

3)  The room(s) must be completely empty (i.e., no furniture, draperies, etc.) before we can begin.
 Be sure that all repairs are completed before we arrive. We will not remove wallpaper, patch holes,
 or etc. We, of course, will perform our normal surface preparations and apply appropriate primers.

4)   If we have to do any wall repairs they will be charged to your account

5)  Please make arrangements so that we will not be distracted. That is, assure that the rooms
will not be used or frequented while the project is in progress.
Trompe L'Oeil & Murals    
Commission a Mural 

The 2 options are-
1)   A mural can  be painted "onsite" (i.e., directly on your walls, ceilings,
floors, etc.) more info
2)   A mural can be painted on canvas sheets that can be shipped
directly to you. More info

Pricing is subjective, it essentially depends on the amount of detail required, and can range from $100.00 to $200.00 per square foot. Murals are
 "prorated" according to the size of detailed regions.
 For example, an 8' x 12' canvas mural that has roughly 70% of it covered with low-detail regions (e.g., sky, stonework, etc. @ $30.00 per square foot) and 30% with high-detail regions (Trompe L'Oeil, animals, architecture, etc. $125.00 per square foot) will be priced as follows:
8' x 12' x 0.7 x $30.00 = $2,016.00
8' x 12' x 0.3 x $100.00 = $2,880.00
This calculation is only meant as an example, specific quotes will be made upon request.


Initial Steps
We will begin by discussing ideas directly with you.
 Often, clients will send photographs or magazine clippings
as examples of their ideas. After incorporating your ideas, we will
create a color markup board. The board and a quote will be sent to
 you for approval. (This step requires a $75.00 nonrefundable deposit.)
You review the markup board and discuss changes if needed.
Then you either sign the quote (a signature indicates that the
idea is accepted) or request a second markup board.
Changes can be made after we receive your signed
 approval, but may require additional charges.

MURALS ON CANVAS 
Further Steps (after Initial steps above)
1) The Mural Project will begin after we receive a 60%
      (nonrefundable) initial payment.
2) Near completion, we will send a photo for your acceptance. Some simple changes can be made at this point but may require additional charges.
3) You will be notified via e-mail, phone, or mail that  the project has been completed.
At this time the final payment is due.
After we receive your final payment, the mural will be shipped to you.
Once you receive the finished mural, you can either attach the canvas to the wall yourself, mount it on stretcher boards or hire a professional wallpaper hanger to do it for you.

ONSITE MURALS

If the mural is to be painted at a location outside a reasonable commuting distance additional charges for accommodations and travel must be added to the cost of the mural.
1)  A specific starting date must be made in advance. Please note that we can only estimate the amount of time it will take to complete the project (however, we are usually pretty close). Therefore, if the project must be completed by a certain date you should allow a little extra time.
